Review from last season
The 2’s had a difficult season in 2014/15. There had been a settled and strong team for many years but with changes in circumstance, ageing legs, retirements and injuries there were a lot of changes in personnel over the course of the season. Over 40 different players took to the field and ultimately we came second bottom resulting in relegation. Despite this the team slowly developed over the course of the season and there were periods when we really started to play some attractive hockey. With the continuing development of our Youth I hope a few more younger players can be bought into the squad next season as we begin to rebuild a team that can grow and develop together.
We are looking for a strong season in Central League 2. To be challenging for promotion whilst establishing and developing a young side that will support and compete for positions in the 1st over the coming years.
